The products manufactured and sold by Hewitt Technologies Inc. are for off-road or competition use only, no other applications are intended or implied. Our bypass kits are not EPA/CARB certified and are not legal for street-use.

In general, it is illegal to bypass or otherwise make inoperable an emissions system required for highway use. The vehicle owner and installer acknowledge and assumes ALL risks associated with the purchase, installation and use of our products.

This site may contain other proprietary notices and copyright information, the terms of which must be observed and followed. Information on this site may contain technical inaccuracies or typographical errors. Information, including product pricing and availability, may be changed or updated without notice. Hewitt-Tech.com reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, and/or cancel orders at its discretion, including, without limitation, if Hewitt-Tech.com believes that customer conduct violates applicable law or is harmful to the interests of Hewitt Technologies Inc.

Shipping and Handling:

Hewitt-Tech.com ships products with the USPS and FedEx. Orders with USPS shipping that are received before 9:00 AM EST, Monday through Friday usually ship the same day. Orders with FedEx Express shipping received before 4:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday usually ship the same day. FedEx shipping will only deliver or transport on Saturday if the FedEx Saturday Delivery option is selected. Orders placed after our shipping cutoff times, orders received on Saturday and Sunday or during holidays will be shipped the next business day. Shipping options and prices can be seen in the shopping cart by entering your USA ZIP Code. Original shipping costs on free ship items are deducted from any return amounts. Any items or coupon codes that qualify for free shipping will ship using USPS Priority Mail. International shipping customers are responsible for all import duties, taxes and fees upon delivery. If you have any questions about shipping, shipping options to your area are not available or you would like a different shipping option from the carriers we currently offer please contact us before placing your order.

While Hewitt-tech.com tries to maintain at most a 1 business day handling time this is not guaranteed. Likewise Hewitt-Tech.com is not responsible for lost or delayed packages once they are in the possession of the carriers. USPS and FedEx delivery dates and times are not guaranteed by the carriers or Hewitt-Tech.com. If you have a time sensitive delivery need please contact us before ordering.

Limited Lifetime Warranty:

Hewitt Technologies Inc. covers its Secondary Air Injection System Bypass Modules with a limited lifetime warranty. If a module is found to have defects in materials or craftsmanship or is found to have failed under normal use and conditions we will repair or replace the faulty unit free of charge for as long as the original buyer owns the vehicle. This warranty coverage is limited to the original buyer for as long as they own the original subject vehicle and is non-transferable. If a module is suspected of failing under normal use, troubleshooting or inspection of the unit must be completed under our direction or directly by us before qualifying for warranty coverage. Damage or failures caused by improper installation, physical damage, damage to the vehicle, alterations or misuse are not covered by this warranty. Hewitt Technologies Inc. is not liable for any damage or expense incurred as the result of a module failure. Return shipping costs for warranty repair or inspection are the responsibility of the customer. If unit failure occurs outside the terms of this warranty Hewitt Technologies may offer repair or replacement at a discounted rate but is left at the sole discretion of Hewitt Technologies Inc. Hewitt Technologies Inc. There is no warranty expressed or implied by Hewitt Technologies for OBDII/scan tools, any warranty claims are to be handled by the manufacturer.

Void Where Prohibited:

Although the information on this Web site is accessible worldwide, not all products or services discussed in this Web site are available to all persons or in all geographic locations or jurisdictions. Hewitt-Tech.com and the advertisers each reserve the right to limit the provision of their products or services to any person, geographic area, or jurisdiction they so desire and to limit the quantities of any products or services that they provide. Any offer for any product or service made in the materials on this Web site is void where prohibited.

Sales Tax and Duty and Currencies:

Hewitt Technologies Inc. collects 6% state sales tax for all items sold with a deliver address located in SC. To get setup as SC tax exempt entity we will need a signed and dated SC STA8 Resale Certificate on file, contact us with questions or help. . We do not collect sales taxes for any out of state purchases and interstate customers are responsible for any use tax levied by your state. International customer are responsible for all tax and duty that may be levied by your Country, State or other governing body upon import. All prices posted are in USD. Any purchases funded by other currencies will automatically be converted to USD by the payment processor and the final cost will reflect the current exchange rates.

Returns:

Hewitt-Tech.com will Only accept returns for items that are New, Unopened and in their Original Packaging. To qualify for a return you must contact us within 14 days of purchase for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Once an RMA number has been issued they are valid for 14 days. All authorized returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee based on the original purchase price excluding shipping after receipt and inspection. Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser and credited back to the original funding option (CC, Paypal etc…) At our discretion, items returned in other than new condition, with no RMA, or after the allowed RMA timeframe may be subject to a higher restocking fee or have the return denied. We try to process returns as soon as we receive and can verify them but please allow up to 2-3 days for us to process your return. Buyers are responsible for paying return shipping which must include a tracking number. We do not accept returns or issue any sort of refund for OBDII/Scan tools sold.
